What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a tool that can help us learn how we relate to the world, ourselves and each other.
The word Enneagram literally means “9 sides.” The symbol can be confusing or intimidating to people, but it’s a simple illustration. The circles represent the 9 main types. The lines connecting the circles represent the other types we access during times of stress and growth. That’s it!
The Enneagram acts like a GPS. It helps you learn more about your core motivations – your fears, desires, weaknesses and longings. Understanding those motivations allows you to grow in a healthy direction and adjust your course where needed.
God created us each to be unique, so it can be a surprise to learn that other people view the world differently than we do. Learning more about our type can help us better understand ourselves and others.
How does it work?
Most personality tests give you a picture of who you are through your actions. Unlike those other tests, the Enneagram works by helping you understand your motivations – WHY you do what you do.
Digging into the Enneagram and learning more about yourself can be as challenging as it is comforting. But if you meet that challenge openly and honestly, it can be a great tool in your life.
While the Enneagram is a useful tool, it’s important to remember that it can never replace the good news of the Gospel. The Gospel alone has the power to transform lives.

About Me
Hi! I’m Michelle. I grew up in the world of competitive target shooting, and have competed on the national and international stage for most of my life. I’ve also been interested in personality tests for as long as I can remember. When I discovered the depth and potential of the Enneagram, I dove in.
